Please note that because our membership numbers have already reached the recognised limit for 2026, we are not accepting any new membership applications for now. We will place any new applications on a Waiting List.
Eligibility and Benefits
We prioritise applications from those who live in Abingdon or the surrounding villages that include Abingdon in the postal adress.
Members must be over 16 years of age, but young people may attend our monthly evening meetings when accompanied by an adult. All you need is an interest in art and the creative process!
We hold exhibitions, demonstrations, talks and workshops and provide opportunities for Members to meet and discuss their artistic interests. However, once again our membership numbers have reached the recognised ceiling, so we are unable to accept new members, but will place any new applications on a Waiting List.
This website describes all the activities that are open to members and a copy of the Constitution is available. Members may also have images of their work in the online Gallery. They may also join the Abingdon Artists FaceBook Group. Members of Abingdon Artists also benefit from a 10% discount when buying art supplies in person from Broad Canvas, 20 Broad St, Oxford, OX1 3AS.
Joining Abingdon Artists
For the year 2025-26 the Annual Membership subscription is £35, with a reduction to £17 for those joining after September 1st. (Membership runs from March to the February of the following year).
