LATEST NEWS

Heritage Weekend 19-20th September

The theme is The history of everyday working lives- from agriculture to atoms.

We would like to display a frieze or two of your (unframed) paintings/drawings on the theme, each on size A3 paper (either landscape or portrait orientation), around the walls in unit 25 upstairs over the heritage weekend. (We will need them submitted several days beforehand).

New Art Book

We are excited to announce that, thanks to a generous legacy from founder of Abingdon Artists Pat Tayler, we have produced a book of paintings and sketches of Abingdon and the surrounding area. This hardback book contains more than 150 images spread over 91 pages, all created by members of Abingdon Artists using a range of media. All this for £15!  The book is available in Abingdon’s two independent bookshops (The Bookstore, 15 Bury Street and Mostly Books, 36 Stert Street) while stocks last.

The Newsletter for April 2026 is now available
